Beautiful music wafting forth from a monastery chapel is quite traditional, but the voices of the University of Southern Indiana Chamber Choir delighted all those who could hear them within the chapel and beyond the walls on Friday, May 30, as they sang an assortment of sacred, folk and Irish music during their concert, directed by Daniel R. Craig and accompanied by Thomas Drury.

Then, on Wednesday, June 4, the monastery chapel hosted three American choirs – all en route to performing on June 6 at the Galway Cathedral, where more than 190 voices from 7 U.S. choirs plan to gather. The Tennessee Tech University Concert Chorale from Cookeville, Tennessee, along with the choral programs from Farragut High School and Fayetteville High School, both from Knoxville, Tennessee, delighted those gathered in the chapel, and their songs could be heard around the monastery, as well!
